One of the leading voices on urban transportation policy, Janette Sadik-Khan is internationally respected for her transformative redesigns of New York City streets and rapid-implementation strategies that are being replicated today in cities around the world. Her experience leading the charge on world-famous projects such as the pedestrianization of Times Square and nearly 400 miles of new bike lanes and protected cycle paths in New York City will shed light on local initiatives like the opening of Portage and Main and Winnipeg’s drive to build a connected bike path network.
